Swamp Oak and Burr Oak Markets are high for the 2025 Timber season in Ohio.

These Trees are in the White Oak family are generally located in wetter area throughout the woods. These species can be Harvested year around, however Trees Harvested in Summer must be sawn and processed quickly to keep Logs from Spoiling, Cracking and Staining extremely decreasing the value of the Logs and Lumber. 

A good range to Harvest Swamp Oak and Burr Oak is 22" DBH - 30" DBH
